Frank McDonald gives a tour of Ireland’s most expensive house, Walford, on Shrewsbury Road, Dublin.

It sold for €58 million six years ago and is now on the market with a guide price of €15 million. Joint agents Lisney and Savills have been appointed to handle the sale. Anyone bidding for the house will be aware that earlier this year Derek Quinlan managed to get only about €7 million for his superbly presented home on the same road.
